Timeless Fine Art Dog & Equine Photography in Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire

Luxury portrait experiences designed to celebrate the soul of your dog or horse and transform your memories into exquisite wall art for your home.

Your dog isn’t “just a dog.”
Your horse isn’t simply an animal.

They are presence. Personality. History. Home.

Whether it’s the way your dog looks at you across a field, or the quiet power of your horse at golden hour, these moments deserve more than a phone gallery. They deserve to live on your walls beautifully, permanently.

Based in Bucks and Oxon, I create relaxed, bespoke photography experiences for devoted owners who want more than digital files. Together, we create artwork that feels as meaningful as the bond you share.

  • DOGS - Studio

A studio dog photoshoot is a calm experience designed to create timeless, striking portraits of your dog. In a quiet, controlled ambient, free from distractions, we focus entirely on your dog’s expression, presence and personality. Your dog is given time to settle, explore the space, and feel safe before any photographs are taken. There is no pressure to perform, patience is part of the process creating portraits that feel both intimate and enduring.

  • Dogs - Outdoor

An outdoor dog photoshoot is a relaxed, natural experience designed to capture your dog exactly as they are: expressive, playful, soulful. We meet at a carefully chosen countryside location in Buckinghamshire or Oxfordshire, whether that’s open fields and woodland paths. The session is unhurried and fun, your dog has time to explore, sniff, play, and settle while I gently guide moments rather than force poses. Sticks and balls are welcome.

  • Horses

Horse photography holds a unique significance, capturing more than just images; it encapsulates the profound bond between humans and these majestic creatures. These photographs become cherished memories, reflecting the beauty, grace, and companionship shared between humans and horses. Beyond mere documentation, horse photography celebrates the essence of equine companionship, preserving it for generations to come.

“Miriam was amazing with the dog and really put a lot of care and effort into making the general experience a great one. Not to mention the photos are beautiful!

Faq’s

  • You don’t need a perfectly trained dog, you just need your dog.
My sessions are relaxed and completely tailored around your pet’s personality. We allow time for them to explore, settle, and feel safe. I work with natural behaviour and gentle guidance, capturing beautiful moments between movements rather than expecting long stays. Some of the most powerful images happen in between poses.

  • Not at all. Safety always comes first.
If your dog needs to stay on a lead, I photograph them safely and remove the lead carefully during the editing process. You would never know it was there, but your dog remains secure at all times.

  • Sessions can take place outdoors in a beautiful natural setting or in my garden studio in Shabbington HP18 9HD,

  • There’s no strict stopwatch.
Most sessions last around 1 hour, but I always work at your dog’s pace. We build in time for breaks, cuddles, water, and play. The goal is a calm, enjoyable experience, never rushed.

  • Bring a few of your dog’s favourite treats and a toy they love.
If there’s a special collar you adore, bring that too. I’ll guide you beforehand so you feel completely prepared and relaxed.

  • This is often the quiet question.

Portraits of our dogs aren’t about today, they are about the years ahead. When their muzzle turns grey, when their bed is empty, when you would give anything to feel their weight beside you again. That is when these images matter most. But to give you an idea most of my clients spend between £700 and £2500.
